By booking or using our services, you (“Customer”) agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These terms protect both you and Perfect Peace Moving (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
1. Services Provided
Perfect Peace Moving provides professional moving, packing, loading, unloading, furniture protection, transportation assistance, and PCS/PPM support services. Specific services are outlined in your estimate, booking confirmation, and final invoice.
2. Estimates & Pricing
All estimates are based on information provided by the Customer at the time of booking. Final charges may change due to:

Additional items
-
Stairs, elevators, or long carries
-
Changes in scope of work
-
Delays caused by access, weather, or third parties
-
Additional labor, time, or materials required
All charges are based on actual time, labor, and equipment used.
3. Minimum Service Time
Perfect Peace Moving operates on a two (2) hour minimum service charge for all local and PCS/PPM moves unless otherwise agreed to in writing. The minimum charge applies regardless of job size and covers labor, equipment, and operational costs. Once service has begun, the minimum charge is fully earned and non-refundable.
4. Payment Terms
Payment is due in full upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Accepted payment methods include:

Cash

Debit/Credit Cards

Approved electronic payments
Failure to render payment may delay unloading or release of property where permitted by Kansas law.
5. Deposits, Cancellations & Rescheduling
Some moves may require a non-refundable deposit to secure a date.

Cancellations or reschedules made within 48 hours of the scheduled move may result in a cancellation fee up to the full 2-hour minimum.

Same-day cancellations or no-shows will be charged the full minimum fee.

Deposits may be transferred one time to a rescheduled date within 30 days, subject to availability.
6. Refund Policy
All sales are final once services have been rendered. Refunds are not guaranteed and are issued only at the Company’s discretion in limited circumstances such as:

Company cancellation without reschedule option

Failure to arrive without notice
Refunds will not be issued for:
-
Dissatisfaction with speed, efficiency, or subjective service quality
-
Weather, traffic, or access delays
-
Customer cancellations inside 48 hours
-
Partial completion once loading/unloading begins
-
Minimum service time once earned
Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days using the original payment method.
7. Customer Responsibilities
The Customer agrees to:

Provide accurate move details
-
Ensure walkways, entrances, and exits are clear
-
Secure pets and children
-
Disconnect appliances unless arranged in writing
-
Ensure parking and building access
-
Disclose fragile, high-value, oversized, or specialty items in advance
Failure to comply may result in delays, additional charges, or service refusal.
8. Damage & Liability
Perfect Peace Moving exercises reasonable care in handling property. We are not responsible for damage caused by:

Customer-packed boxes
-
Pre-existing damage
-
Press-wood / particle-board furniture
-
Improper packing by Customer
-
Weather conditions
-
Mechanical failure beyond our control

Acts of God
Damage must be reported within 24 hours of move completion. Liability is limited to the terms stated on your final invoice unless additional coverage is purchased in advance.
9. Prohibited & Restricted Items
We do not transport:

Hazardous materials
-
Explosives
-
Firearms or ammunition
-
Flammable liquids/gases
-
Illegal substances
-
Perishable foods
-
Live animals
Service may be refused if unsafe or prohibited items are present.
10. Stairs, Long Carries & Specialty Items
Additional charges may apply for:

Multiple flights of stairs
-
Long-carry distances
-
Oversized or specialty items
-
Safes, pianos, hot tubs, treadmills, gun safes
These items must be disclosed prior to booking.
11. Delays & Force Majeure
We are not responsible for delays due to:
-
Severe weather
-
Traffic accidents
-
Mechanical failures
-
Access restrictions
-
Government actions
-
Acts of God
No refunds or guarantees apply to force-majeure delays.
12. Military PCS / PPM Disclaimer
Perfect Peace Moving provides logistical support only for PCS/PPM moves and:

Does not guarantee reimbursement approval or amount
-
Is not responsible for TMO/DFAS processing timelines
-
Provides guidance only, not financial authorization
All final reimbursements are determined solely by the U.S. military and DFAS.
13. Indemnification
The Customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Perfect Peace Moving against all claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

Unsafe property conditions
-
Undisclosed hazards
-
Inaccurate Customer information
-
Breach of these Terms & Conditions
14. Right to Refuse Service
Perfect Peace Moving reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service due to:

Unsafe working conditions
-
Abusive or threatening behavior
-
Illegal items present
-
Failure to pay
15. Website Use
All website content is property of Perfect Peace Moving. Unauthorized reproduction is prohibited.
16. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas.
17. Updates to Terms
Terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of current terms.
